Objects related to the seamanship, nautical (and medical!) instruments, navigational charts and souvenirs from the sea voyages around the world, especially from the Far East, an popular destination for the sailings and missions of Austro-Hungarian training warships. Officers and crews brought exotical products from China and other Far-Eastern countries, like silk and porcelain, and much favoured were the hand-made embroideries with pictoral descriptions of life and service of individual seamen. An important part of the exhibition is showing flags of all naval nations that were present on the Adriatic during modern history.
