Models 1890-1918 :
The review of naval history is impossible without the ships´ models, showing the vessels through the centuries. The probably most attractive, and most pleasant to view is our collection of ships´ models, that is expected to grow further.
On the 1st floor the models of ships built between 1890 and 1918 are to be seen, like the battleship Viribus Unitis (two models, in 1:200 and 1:100 scale), sunk at Pola on November 1, 1918, of the battleships Szent István and Radetzky (in 1:100), of the German battlecruiser Goeben, whose arrival to Constantinople in 1914 drew Turkey into the WW I, of several torpedo boats, of most important types of A-H submarines, and of auxiliary warships. “On the stocks” are the models of the battleship Babenberg, and of the cruisers Zenta and Novara, all in 1:50 scale.
